A little bit about me…
My name is Jean and I am 61 years (not old). I am multicultural, I was made in Cairo, Egypt and at the age of 12 ½, I moved to Sydney, Australia. In Sydney, I finished high school to Year 11 and I then completed a 4 year hairdressing apprenticeship. After my apprenticeship, I opened my own salon at the age of 20. I then travelled to Europe and worked in London and Paris for a year. After returning to Australia, I went on to open 3 successful salons. I then moved back to Cairo where I had my last salon for 18 years.
My Career for 42 years has been playing with hair, I have owned and operated 7 hairdressing salons. While playing with hair, I was also mentoring and coaching my clients and realized that over the 42 years I helped a lot of people. I now feel happy and strong in my skin, but it was not always like that.
Six months after I closed my last hairdressing salon, I felt lost within myself, lost in the world. I didn’t know what to do or even if I felt like doing anything (very unlike me). I lost my smile, became irritable, I was negative, I put on weight, I felt like crap and became physically unwell.
I knew something had to change, that is when I discovered this thing that changed everything. At first, I was sceptical, like that approach will never work for me. But then I followed through in a way that I never had before. Within two weeks I bounced energetically out of bed every morning, had more clarity then I had had in a long time, most importantly I began to love myself and my life. No more negative self-talk, no more missing out on life. I started getting compliments from people around me, they were telling me I looked amazing, like I had completely transformed. What was I doing? They all wanted to know.
That is when I developed a system called the “Total Transformation Intensive” to teach people how to reconnect with their inner strength and POSITIVITY in a gentle, slow, fun way that gets results (I like to say small hinges move big doors). I work with people one on one by phone, anywhere around the world and work with groups of people on retreats (retreats are very empowering, as a group we share our experiences and that helps us realise that we are not alone).
I have helped people successfully regain their inner strength and find the passion and joy in living by experiencing a total transformation using the exact steps I can teach you. Now it is my goal to help you connect the dots and show you EXACTLY how you can also do this. No matter how far off track you have fallen. If any of the above has resonated with you, message me today for a free Total Transformation discovery session where we will create a personalised path to your transformation.
Hi I am Jean Tawa and some little interesting facts about me.
I love laughing, being happy, being positive, feeling light within myself, I surround myself with like minded people and that in itself is an amazing recipe for my Happy Life. My life wasn't always like that (let's talk later about that). So where was I - oh I love being with, and in nature to be more precise. I love the sea, the salt air, the sand, the ocean, the fish, the salt water, anything to do with the ocean you can count me in. I love scuba diving, I have my scuba Dive Master certification so I can guide certified divers on dive trips. I did that as a side line on weekends just so I got to dive more and be with again, like minded people, that is about my favourite sport/hobby. I love being eye to eye with huge sea creatures and little ones as well, I love being in the presence of sharks, sharks of any kind. I must say I have never been eye to eye with a great white shark so I need to refrain from saying any kind of shark LOL. My absolute favourite big sea creatures are The Manta Rays, the energy I pick up from Manta’s is indescribable, well let me try - Manta’s to me have an energy like no other sea creature their energy is calming, knowing, full of information (this is the time you will probably say ok this Jean is Coocoo LOL ). I’m really not, I do pick up on energies that's for sure.
Swimming, doing laps for exercise and meditation, have been doing that since I was in my teens, such a relaxing feeling also competition swimming.
I played tennis for many years, competition and socially.
As you can see I love being active. I am competitive and I do like to win, being competitive the adrenaline rush that happens just before a tennis game or before a swim race is the ultimate feeling.
I forgot to mention horse riding for many year,s I went horse riding to understand and have rapport with a horse. It is an amazing experience this majestic animal lets us sit on its back and follows the orders you give him/her (only when they want) astounds me they are huge, especially when I was 5 years old, that’s when I started horse riding, they seemed even bigger.
I nearly forgot to mention Skydiving, I passed my exams to be able to skydive on my own. I did the 3 tandem required dives and then I stopped, maybe one day I will pick it up again. I definitely loved the adrenaline rush that went with skydiving, but I did not really like how quickly the whole experience went after taking forever to set up, if that makes any sense, scuba diving also takes a while to set but you are on a high a lot longer than when skydiving.
I also really like gardening, blending the wild with the tame, that type of gardening, I am not into the manicured looking gardens at all.
Now that I gave you a little info about me I hope that one day I will get to know you and be able to help you overcome/understand/or simply be happy with who you are, whatever it might be in your life, I can help you.
Have an amazing happy funnnnn rest of your day.
Jean.
More about Jean’s background…
Once upon a time, a long time ago I was a happy go lucky 12 year old girl living in Cairo Egypt. I had my friends, my brother my sister and a bunch of maids (more on that later LOL) and my school. I used to ride my bike to get there that's where I did most of my socialising, not really studying LOL. I had my sports club at walking distance where I went swimming and horse riding. I had judo lessons, played ping pong and tennis, I loved being active and independent even at a young age.
In 1970 my life changed abruptly the day that my father announced that we are immigrating to Sydney, Australia.
As French is my mother tongue, upon arriving at Sydney airport in May 1970 I could not understand a word that was spoken and that in itself was a huge set back for me in many ways and many years.
Lost all of what I knew to be my life, my Norm.
Going to a school where I could not understand the language, and at that time they did not have extra support for immigrants. I remember looking around. I was the only non-Australian child in my class, probably in the school except for my sister.
That was the beginning of many different events in my life that have taught me that to live a Happy Magical Joyous life. I needed to do life in a different way because of these circumstances, this is “WHY” the WHY that made me CRY for many years “WHY ME”. I chose Life coaching as my 2nd career path Hairdressing was my first.
It would be impossible for me to help anyone to get over or get past being depressed, sad, quiet, introverted, unless I had gone through all those emotions and phases myself and survived them, coming out the other end with many tools for a Happier, more joyous teenager. Willing to talk to people instead of locking myself away for days on end and became quite the extrovert.
